Snehal B Desai, an engineer from the Centre for Environment Planning and Technology (CEPT), went on to complete his MBA (Finance) from the Gujarat University – and was in fact the first person from CEPT who opted for an MBA Degree!

 

Post MBA he worked in diverse sectors like - venture capital, port, energy particularly in exploration and production and PNG-CNG. His corporate involvement and responsibilities include - identification of new business opportunity and stabilising the same, financial and commercial closure, merger and acquisition, contracting and procurement, due diligence, adding value to the organisation to take it to the next level, et al.

 

Alongside his corporate responsibilities, MrSnehal Desai has also been a visiting faculty at institutes like IIM-Ahmedabad, Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India, The Nirma Institute of Management, Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Institute of Company Secretaries of India and many more.

 

Mr Desai is also a corporate trainer who has conducted more than 1000 open sessions and speeches and mentored 80,000-plus professionals.  

 He has - freelanced as a writer for a national daily; trained teachers; and counselled more than 2000 students. Parenting, Careerguidance and mentoring, Advising on building start-ups, Enterprenurship and sustainable organisation development are his forte and areas where he has left a significant impact.

 

Besides his interests in the academic and business arena Mr Snehal B Desai has a penchant for music too! He has formed ‘Blood Brother’, a rock and metal band where he plays the guitar. Blood Brother released their debut album ‘Ethereal’ in May 2019 and released a single title ‘Hope’ in May 2020. Blood Brother has done significant number of concerts across the Music circuit.
